The Viker Star is a high output headlamp with 3 practical modes that meets most outdoor and industrial needs. With its double-headlamp and battery placement on the back of the head, the Viker Star is stable and comfortable to wear. 140 lumen output, up to 120 hours run time, and a multi-direction illumination lamp head, the Viker Star is perfect for running, camping, hiking, climbing and caving.
Viker Star is a low cost headlamp that is quite powerful. The battery lasts 12.5 -120 hours, which is pretty good. The lower light level is much less powerful but adequate for map reading and camp use. The power is provided by 3 AA batteries, which makes the Viker Star fairly heavy. There’s no switch. Instead you twist the lamp housing to turn it on and go through the lighting options. For the cost this is a good headlamp. There are lighter, better ones but most of them cost quite a bit more.
